Sausage Balls

This recipe is from a sweet friend of mine, Abby Wood. There are many ways to make this classic, but Abby’s are my favorite. Bookmark this and make some ASAP!
What you need;
1 lb hot sausage
10oz sharp cheddar cheese
3 cups of Bisquick
salt and pepper
What to do:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, combine sausage, cheese, Bisquick, salt, and pepper. I like to use my hands or a dough hook on your mixer to get it well combined. Prepare your heart to get a little messy. But don’t worry, it’s worth it. Form the mixture into small balls, the size of walnuts, and place on a cookie sheet. Leave about 1.5 inches between each sausage ball. This mixture usually makes about 2 baking sheets worth. Place in the oven and cook for 17-20 minutes. Remove from the oven when they are golden brown. Eat while warm, and save the rest for an afternoon snack.
