Party Potatoes
I have served these Party Potatoes lots of times during holidays and other special occasions. Our family loves potatoes and this one is a favorite. I found this recipe in the Prestonwood Cookbook, and have never looked back. Check this out...
Ingredients:
2 pounds frozen Ore-Ida shredded has browns (thawed)
2 cups of sour cream
1 (1 3/4 ounce) can cream of celery soup
2 Tbsp onion, chopped
2 cups cheddar cheese, grated
1/2 cup butter, softened
Topping:
1 1/2 cups cornflakes, crushed
1/2 cup butter
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. To prepare hash brown mixture, combine all hash brown mixture ingredients in a large bowl and spoon into 9x13 inch pan. For the topping, crush cornflakes and spread over hash brown mixture. Melt 1/2 cup butter and pour over cornflakes. Bake 1 hour and 10 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
