Amazing Cheese Ball


Why is it that we only eat cheese balls during the holidays? I love cheese balls of all kinds, but this one was introduced to me by Jane Hughes. It is by far my favorite. It would be fun to add it to a cheese board. It is especially pretty at Christmas, but I say let’s eat cheese balls year round! Serve the cheese ball with a strong cracker. I love it with Wheat Thins! Enjoy!


Ingredients:

2 - 8oz cream cheese, softened

1 - 8 1/2oz can crushed pineapple, drained

1/2 cup of finely chopped green pepper

2 Tbsp finely chopped green onion

1 Tbsp seasoned salt

1 1/2 cups chopped pecans, divided


Directions:

Mis all ingredients together using 1/2 of the chopped pecans. Shaped into a ball and roll in the remaining pecans. Refrigerate to regain firmness of the cream cheese. Serve with your favorite crackers.
